Downtown voters will get another look tomorrow night at the ten candidates vying to be their ward 2 councillor. The Durand Neighbourhood Association and three other ward groups are hosting an all-candidates meeting at 7 pm in Hamilton City Hall.
Dundas voters will get their chance on Thursday evening in an all-candidates debate hosted by the Dundas Star and the local chamber of commerce. It also starts at 7 pm, this time in Dundas town hall.
On Friday evening, Cable 14 will host debates for both of the council by-elections. The seven Dundas candidates will be live on the TV station from 7:30 to 9 pm , while the downtown Ward 2 candidates will be on from 9 pm to 11 pm.
The Ward 2 debates will be re-broadcast on September 20 and 22 from 9-11 in the morning and again from 9-11 in the evening. The Ward 13 re-broadcast will take place on September 21 and 23 from 9 to 10:30 in both the morning and evening.
Advance polling for the two by-elections takes place this Saturday, September 18, with the final vote on Friday, October 1.
